Hundreds, 5-fers and 5 catches to be rewarded for remaining Saturday senior sides

A capped system has existed for a number of years for the First XI and Ladies XI where a player scoring a hundred, taking five wickets in an innings or taking five catches in an innings receives a specially numbered cap.

The same will now be the case for those playing 2nd, 3rd and 4th XI cricket from this season. However, the caps won't be backdated for existing club members who have already achieved these feats earlier in their careers.

A player can, however, build up caps moving up the standards by getting caps in 4th, then 3rd, then 2nd and 1st XI cricket but not in reverse. So if a player already has a cap from the 2nd XI and they reach a milestone in 3rd XI cricket too, they won't obtain another cap.

This will be introduced from the beginning of the 2019 season with caps presented at the end of season presentation
