Club saddened at the passing of former player

We're saddened to hear of the passing of former player Martin Moore at the age of 70. 

Martin passed away over the weekend after a long battle with Alzheimer's. 

His connections with the club go beyond the period he spent as a player in the 2nd XI, where he tasted promotion under the captaincy of the late Paul Sharman, as both of his sons, Tom and Robert went on to play 1st XI cricket for the club.

Martin, who was a Quantity Surveyor by trade, would go on to play for Burton on the Wolds before retiring from playing. 

The thoughts of everyone at the club go to Tom and Robert as well as the extended family at this extremely sad time.
