Club saddened by Smith passing

Jim was a distinctive figure around the club and the village as a whole and was well known for his love of sport - football and cricket in particular.

He was a regular visitor to Mill Lane and was affectionately known as 'Scotch Egg' among the players and supporters, due to his love of them and that he'd rarely be seen at Mill Lane without at least one to snack on during play.
