Davies receives England call up

Flora Davies has been called up as a non-travelling reserve for the England Under 19s tri-series with Australia and Sri Lanka 

Davies, who has progressed through our Academy setup, has been a regular with Leicestershire and The Blaze Academy in recent years as her game has progressed. Flora has also been part of the wider England training programme. 

We're delighted for Flora and wish her every success if she receives the call up to join up with her teammates in Australia. 

Club Chair Nigel Kinch said: "This is fantastic news for Flora and we're all delighted that she's received this news. It's also fantastic recognition for the club and the work we've been doing for many years with young cricketers."

Flora is the second female Academy graduate to receive Englsnd international recognition after Prisha Thanawala was called up to the Under 19s World Cup squad last year.
