The First XI were due to play Plumtree, the Seconds against Birstall Village and the Thirds Shepshed this weekend while the Sunday XI were due to be playing Grantham on Sunday.

The Grantham game has been re-scheduled while the friendlies are all abandoned without a ball being bowled thanks to the torrential downpours we've experienced in the last week.

With a better week predicted weatherwise, groundstaff across the county will be hoping it's enough to allow them to do the necessary preparation ahead of the scheduled opening round of Leicestershire & Rutland League fixtures next weekend.
