Greg sets club record

Greg, who is English born but has been living in South Africa for a number of years, has set a new club record by becoming the first player to pass 2,000 runs in a season.

The right hander passed the 2,000 run mark during his unbeaten 90 during the second innings of the Joe Orton Cup final. He passed the previous mark of 1,719 runs set by James Melody 20 years ago in 2002 earlier in the season.

With two matches still to go, he's scored 2,062 runs at 51.55 with 13 fifties and five hundreds.
