Marais completes fifty in tough day for Easterns

Dewan Marais converted his overnight unbeaten 46 to an unbeaten half-century on day two of the Easterns four day final against the Knights in Bloemfontein.

Marais, who will be with us for the 2026 season, finished unbeaten on 62 as his Easterns side were bowled out for 277 in 104 overs.

However, the Knights made hay in reply with both openers reaching 50 with the Knights just over 100 runs shy at 159 for 1 heading into day three.
