Details of our 2021 good cause donation and for our 2022 appeal for a local good cause.

Each year we commit to donate some of the funds raised from our numerous fundraising activities to a local good cause - the funds raised from the 2021 firework display was no different.

Young Rhys has strong links with the Club with his uncle and grandad being life members - sadly, not long after his 2nd birthday, he was diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

Rhys is an amazing boy who loves building Lego, playing outside with his brother in his power wheelchair and dinosaurs! He is determined and inquisitive and always manages to do things in his own way despite the challenges he faces.

He's pictured with his mum, dad and brother alongside Club Chairman Nigel Kinch presenting a cheque for £525 towards the Together for Rhys fund as they look to raise funds for treatments and also to hopefully find a cure for the debilitating disease.

If you would like to donate to Together for Rhys then you can do so at the Just Giving page.

Our 2022 display will be no different and we're looking for another local good cause (or causes) to donate funds to. If you know of a cause that you think merits our consideration, please send the details to fireworks@silebytown.co.uk.
