Preston voted in as Life Member

Preston has been a playing member of the club for over 20 years and has represented the club with distinction from levels from Academy age group through to the First XI and everything in between. 

In addition he's also skippered numerous sides, most recently the Third XI, but it's his work off the field that has cemented his elevation to Life Member.

His work in off field projects like the addition of the new garage area, creation of the new cold room, the build of the brand new pavilion from the ground up on the second field was then followed by the bar and function room refurbishment two winters ago - culminating with his project management and fundraising of the pavilion extension - a c£400,000 project.

If all of that was not enough he's also undertaken coaching at the Club as well as taking on the role of Bar Manager at the start of the 2025 season. 

We're delighted to recognise Chris' contributions to the Club and thank him for his continued commitment to Sileby Town and welcome him into the rich history of the club as a Life Member.
