Ryan Dawson bagged his second five wicket haul of the season to skittle Loughborough Town for 111, despite the visitors getting a good platform early on.
Their opening pair posted 58 before Sileby made the breakthrough with Loughborough then losing four wickets for seven runs to slip to 65 for 4 and despite brief respite of a fifth wicket stand of 22 the last six wickets went down for 24 runs in nine overs with Dawson finishing with figures of 6-18.
Sileby's reply didn't start well with Chris Yates and Andries Gous both falling for two apiece - the latter in his last appearance of the season before heading back to South Africa for pre-season with the Knights franchise.
Any fears of a defeat were eased by skipper Dave Torr who posted an unbeaten stand of 91 with Jake Gillett (30 not out) for the third wicket to bring the side home with over 27 overs still in the bank.
Torr's unbeaten 69 came from 73 balls with a dozen fours and sealed an eight wicket win for his side to help them keep pace with Barrow Town in second spot behind leaders Rothley Park.
